Timbernook

Yesterday we went to timbernook now at timbernook there was like rope swings into mud, and lots of class activities that i found quite boring. at about 11:00 i started to do the rope swing and swung into the mud, the girls and most of the boys were to scared to there was like 1 girl who jumped in and 4 boys. this was Kayne and I me with the red long shirt:

This is the process I went through of making my key tag

Key Tag: Final Design

Conceptual Statement:

I am going to design and make

I am going to make a keychain to hold my house keys

Attributes:

• Shape - something the person likes
• Size - key size
• Appearance - look cool
• A hole for the split ring
• Design- sasquatch
• Smooth edges- texture
• Colour- colour i like- colour suits design

Evaluation:

• My Key tag was functional because It stuck to my bag properly

• My design  was a circle becuase that was the shape of the design

• The final finish on the edges  was very successful because they were shiny and smooth

• If i was to change the design i would make the following changes I like how it is because it looks cool

Planning:

• The name of my Stakeholder is Daniel Malone
• The 2 designs were a sasquatch , bigfoot
• I transferred the design onto a piece of card
• I then traced the around the final design onto arcrylic
• I used 120,240,600 sand paper
• I 600 sand papered it with water then jiffed it to make it shiny and put the design on
• I then Drilled a hole then put the split ring on

The moral behind the story is that if you are not lazy you will get rewarded, the story was about a king who was a hard worker and his subjects were lazy and the king put a big rock on the road and everyone complained then a lady was a hard worker and moved the stone and got lots of gold in reward

E-Assttle writing

In class we have been making writing and I made it about a dog this is my writing:

The biggest and fattest dog - Daniel

This dog went to the beach his name’s fat bum…. Yes a really weird name, but it is what it is. Anyway he is a very happy dog and his owner took him to the beach and he played round everywhere… but he went too far in the water and he almost drowned but atleast he took swimming lessons and he swam back to shore. Later that day he found a gannet and he quickly dug his sharp teeth into it’s neck, then you heard a loud crack and saw it’s head turn ragdoll, the owner said “good boy” and the dog said “bark bark.” And they lived happily ever after… apart from the gannet.

Persuasive Writing

The other day we made persuasive writing, so we had to choose a description and chose we should be allowed to take phones to primary.... Sadly blogger won't let me put a picture of the writing in so I will have to copy and paste. I did 3 paragraphs and my conclusion as you can see below.

P1.

I think that kids in primary through to high school should carry phones with them because, how will they contact their parents or siblings to pick you up. What if they are lost and don’t know where to go from a friends house.

P2.

What if your bored on the bus or something,  you need some music or a game to play.

P3.

If the school burns down And you have your phone on you then call your parents to pick you up. If you don’t have your phone on you then you won’t be able to go home.

Conclusion

All i’m saying is just to let your students bring your phone to school, thank you for listening to my speech.
